Once upon a time, in the vibrant city of Medina

Once upon a time, in the vibrant city of Medina, there lived a humble and pious man named Abdullah. Known for his kindness and generosity, Abdullah was loved by the community for his unwavering faith and commitment to following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

One day, as Abdullah was walking through the marketplace, he noticed a poor beggar sitting by the side of the road. The beggar looked weary and hungry, and his clothes were tattered. Without hesitation, Abdullah approached him and greeted him with a warm smile.
"What brings you here, my brother?" Abdullah asked kindly.
The beggar, surprised by the compassion he felt emanating from Abdullah, replied, "I am a poor man, struggling to make ends meet. I have not eaten for days, and life has been harsh."
Moved by the man's plight, Abdullah remembered a hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that emphasized the importance of helping those in need. With a heart full of empathy, Abdullah invited the beggar to join him for a meal.
Together, they went to Abdullah's home, where he and his family welcomed the beggar with open arms. They shared a simple but delicious meal, and as they sat together, Abdullah spoke to the beggar about the teachings of Islam and the importance of compassion and charity.
After the meal, Abdullah gave the beggar some provisions and a sum of money, ensuring that he had enough to sustain himself for some time. The beggar was overwhelmed with gratitude and asked, "Why are you being so kind to me, a stranger?"
Abdullah smiled and replied, "It is the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that inspire me to show kindness and generosity to those in need. He said, 'The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.'"
The beggar, deeply moved by Abdullah's kindness and the wisdom of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), embraced Islam on that very day. From that moment forward, Abdullah and the former beggar became lifelong friends, bound by their shared faith and the lessons of compassion learned from the authentic teachings of Islam.
